Thank you so much. *SPOILER* I’m glad the author didn’t cop out on us with a love triangle or chicken out and artificially extend the story, but I feel like there should have been some part where we were informed that Rika intended that a romantic relationship would be part of her “victory” and that she didn’t just want a confession. It feels like we missed the part where Rika said she was in love with Kazuya. Other than that… we’ll have to see where it goes from here. The author has his work cut out for him, but if he can keep focused and maintain the tone which he has established, then I’ll very much look forward to the coming chapters.

Rika seems to be just going with the flow and obviously lacks clear feelings. The brother is mostly just confused but -he-is- attracted to her; obviously things are going to start developing from here.

Thanks for the new chapter. This series is “different” in just the right sense. It may not be super popular or mind-bending, but it’s unique and not typical in the way a lot of other series that follow its style are.

I was actually hoping chapter 7 was the end… It would be nearly perfect: The start of the relationship, and both of them realizing that its real, and not just some dumb thing they are doing because they are kids, and saying they will go on regardless of what society thinks, etc.
This authors past work (Yubisaki Milk Tea) Had a somewhat good beginning, and for a while, it was a decent manga, but then he kept dragging it on and on, cutting and re-establishing relationships back and forth. It was ****ing awful, so if he intends on dragging on this series I hope he learnt from his mistakes, because if not he’d ruin the ONLY incest themed manga (that I know of)which treats the theme with relative seriousness, without over the top, useless fanservice, and in a solid manner.
For an incest-themed manga that is quite serious with no virtually no fan service and is strongly focused, you should look into _Koi Kaze_ by Motoi Yoshida. _Rika_ has quite a bit more humor but otherwise strikes a similar note.

A gem in the making if the author doesn’t go down a pressured road.
A potential to be with Aki sora, Yosuga no Sora, Koi Kaze, Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru ranks.
IDK, Aki Sora went down the drain pretty bad and Yasuga no Sora had like four separate storylines and all but the Sora one sucked (though I do love the Sora arc. Nothing beats watching Haru slowly losing it.)
I’ve seen it getting tragedy tags on some hosting sites. There something coming down the road I’m not aware of?

@Madarame: Not to “intrude” on your conversation, but Koi Kaze is one of my all time favorite mangas! I would like to see it re-done though; the scans that are out for it are a little messy and I’m not entirely sure about the translation (sorry AnimeWaves). That and the thing hasn’t been localized — maybe because it talks about a touchy subject?
I’m liking the feel of “Rika” so far, though from the reactions of people on “Yubisaki Milk Tea”, I’m a bit careful to fully invest my emotions on this manga. I’ve no doubt the author will attempt to drag things a little (they need money to eat too I suppose), I just hope it doesn’t ruin his overall story.
